Denmark 2012

The Summer Session 2012 - as in 2008 - will be held at Brandbjerg Højskole.

Brandbjerg Højskole is located 15 min. by bus outside Vejle in some of Denmark's most beautiful scenery. The traditional main building formed as far back as the 16th century.

The school was established in 1950 and the old main building is still used by the school visitors, although it is no longer the starting point for school activities. It is, instead of the beautiful white modernist extension which houses the school's large conference room and most of the group rooms. Furthermore, in this building, dining hall and bar exists, then in all ways the central place for the summer session.

And if you need to clear mind, there is opportunity for long walks in the school garden, stroll in the lake or green knee on the football pitch. The program will include all years of work in study circles and lectures by keynote speakers during the day and a varied cultural program in the evening.

Keynote Speaker for 2012 is Richard Shusterman.

There will, of course - all year - be the opportunity for child care during the day.
